Welcome to Wonderland
There’s a reason it’s called that.
City on One Side.
Ocean on the Other.
It’s a place unlike any other in the Boston area. The beach spread out ahead of you, the city behind you. Retail and eateries arrayed along the coastline; beachgoers reveling and soaking in the sun. And it’s all just 20 minutes from Downtown Boston, on the MBTA Blue Line at Wonderland.
BOSTON
More Than a Beach Town
Ranked the 7th most diverse suburb in Massachusetts by Niche, Revere is a warm and active community filled with smart, hardworking people and thriving local shops and eateries. Between the famously messy roast beef sandwiches and the refined seaside restaurants opening up along the coast, there’s something here for everyone.
Vibrant. Active. Multicultural.
Leading from the beach into the center of Revere, Shirley Ave is an eclectic and colorful neighborhood filled with a diverse collection of ethnic eateries, storefronts, and markets. Just a quick walk down the street will take you by a Cambodian restaurant, a Central American market, an upscale Spanish bar, and a Mexican street food joint.
The Nursery of the Sea
Nestled right behind Revere Beach, Rumney Marsh Reservation is an idyllic, 600-acre protected salt marsh that’s open year-round—perfect for canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and birdwatching. Often called “nurseries of the sea,” these coastal marshes provide critical homes for thousands of species of wildlife.
